Special thanks to Darrin Bergen, who collected specimens as extensively as the CDFG R/V Mako allowed him to roam from San Diego in a day (some might argue farther). Joelle Sweeney contributed otoliths and corresponding length and weight data for Oncorhynchus mykiss, Sebastes jordani and Sebastes goodei.
